The Dartford Heath Lane project formed part of a trial refurbishment programme part funded by Innovate UK and overseen by PRP Architects on behalf of Dartford Borough Council.

The circa 1920s houses were of solid brick construction, with render to second stories. Dryvit Drysulation External Wall Insulation (EWI) incorporating 150mm Low Lambda (grey) EPS insulation was used to fully clad and upgrade energy performance of the properties. Dryvit Sandpebble Fine finish was used on the second floor areas and Dryvit's revolutionary NewBrick insulated slip system was used to the ground floor.

The residents, Client and design team are extremely happy with the outcome of the project and in particular the genuine look of the NewBrick finish.
