The development of the new Levenmouth Education Campus combines Levenmouth Academy with Fife College in Buckhaven, Fife. The Campus creates 23,000m2 of education space with the college and school sharing a range of core facilities.

From the outset, the Project Design Team required a system that could achieve a strong thermal performance to meet the projects thermal target of 0.20 W/m2k for the walls. To meet Zurich Insurance fire requirements, the original specification called for a non-combustible insulated render system, however as the Dryvit Outsulation system with its expanded polystyrene (EPS) core held the relevant certification to satisfy insurer requirements with a scope of specification that met the projects outlying technical, aesthetic and commercial requirements it was deemed as the most suitable choice of system. 4,800m2 of the Outsulation External Wall Insulation system was installed.
