Dryvit's Outsulation external wall insulation (EWI) system helped a south London housing association to enhance the appearance of a 30 year old tower block. As part of the refurbishment, the entire 11 storey structure was over clad in the Outsulation insulated render system. The cladding system’s very high insulating properties have enabled the building to exceed minimum U-value requirements. Area: 2,000m2. Completed December 2002

Located in Lansdown, Bath, Chelsfield House was originally built in 1965 and was in a state of disrepair when acquired by ST8. With more than 25 years’ experience in redevelopment, the company set about transforming the inefficient property into a warm and inviting 21st century home with the integration of state-of-the-art technology and environmentally friendly practices. Nick Sandy of ST8 specifed Dryvit's Outsulation external wall insulation (EWI) system and  Prefabricated Features. The insulated render system was used to upgrade the energy performance of the existing walls incorporating 80mm of adhesively expanded polystyrene (EPS) insulation, which complimented the other insulation measures specified on the project. The EWI system was finished with PMRB Sandpebble Fine to general areas with our speciality finish Lymestone applied to feature work. Area 350m2. Completed 2010.

This coastal development incorporates the Ramada Hotel and Leisure Complex and was designed by NJSR Architects on behalf of Neptune Developments.  NJSR specified 10,000m2 of Dryvit Outsulation Plus and Outsulation external wall insulation (EWI) systems incorporating over 1000 linear meters of innovative Prefabricated EWI Features. Key to the specification of Dryvit insulated render system on this project was our ability to provide worldwide project references situated in similar hostile coastal environments where our systems have performed successfuly. The Prefabricated Features, manufactured off site, were offered as a cost effective solution to reproducing stone cornices around the perimeter of the development and were able to overcome challenging curves on the project.  Finish used Sandpebble Fine in China White.
