The Signal rises 22 storeys over one of the most exciting residential redevelopment areas in central south London. The building is the embodiment of contemporary urban living encompassing the ever growing demands of London’s home owners. Being one of the tallest new residential development in the area, it boasts stunning views across London – from Battersea Power Station to the west, over to the West End and then The City to the north and Canary Wharf in the east.

The buildings is located directly adjacent to the mainline railway and a lightweight alternative to stone was required to satisfy national rail health and safety requirements, whilst delivering the quality of façade outlined by the local planning department. The Outsulation external wall insulation (EWI) system was specified incorporating 50mm expanded polystyrene insulation and is finished with a bespoke Dryvit speciality TerraNeo finish.

The Signal will act as a catalyst for the total transformation of Newington Causeway. It is at the start of an array of hugely important landmark developments along this stretch. The façade of the building consists of sheathed lightweight steel frame clad with 3,600m2 of Dryvit Outsulation external wall insulation system (EWI). Completed 2014
