Friendship House was built to provide much needed affordable key worker accommodation in the central London area. MJP architects created the contemporary look of the Dryvit Sandpebble finish in China White and punctuated with a recessed mosaic tile band horizontally at each floor level. Zinc tiles are also used to provide a striking contrast to the Outsulation external wall insulation (EWI) system. Area 1800m2.

Dryvit's Outsulation external wall insulation (EWI) system helped a south London housing association to enhance the appearance of a 30 year old tower block. As part of the refurbishment, the entire 11 storey structure was over clad in the Outsulation insulated render system. The cladding system’s very high insulating properties have enabled the building to exceed minimum U-value requirements. Area: 2,000m2.

33,000m2 of Dryvit Outsulation external wall insulation (EWI) was installed on 11 new community campus sites incorporating 14 secondary and primary schools across Edinburgh and Perthshire in Scotland. The works formed part of two Public Private Partnership (PPP) schemes worth £269m between Axiom Education and both Edinburgh City and Perth and Kinross Councils. Broughton High School in Edinburgh has approximately 4,500m2 of the Outsulation insulated render system installed. Dryvit's comprehensive Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB) fire approvals were instrumental in satisfying insurer requirements for the project, which allowed the cost effective expanded polystyrene (EPS) based Outsulation EWI system to be specified for use on the scheme.

Located in Lansdown, Bath, Chelsfield House was originally built in 1965 and was in a state of disrepair when acquired by ST8. With more than 25 years’ experience in redevelopment, the company set about transforming the inefficient property into a warm and inviting 21st century home with the integration of state-of-the-art technology and environmentally friendly practices. Nick Sandy of ST8 specifed Dryvit's Outsulation external wall insulation (EWI) system and  Prefabricated Features. The insulated render system was used to upgrade the energy performance of the existing walls incorporating 80mm of adhesively expanded polystyrene (EPS) insulation, which complimented the other insulation measures specified on the project. The EWI system was finished with PMRB Sandpebble Fine to general areas with our speciality finish Lymestone applied to feature work. Area 350m2.
